Good day fellow friends, hope you had a great weekend. Today's article is about another good spring menu, this time from BRIO Tuscan Grille. BRIO invited some local food bloggers out to try their Spring menu which focuses on Seafood.
The evening started off with cocktails that evolved around the Blackberry. My favorite was the Blackberry Cooler. It was a mixture of Blackberry infusion, rim, black raspberry liqour, pineapple & lime juice, basil simple syrup. Very tasty!!
Next we had some delicious small plates, which were led by the interestingly plated but delicious Beef Carpaccio. The dish was vibrant and seasoned very well. Next was the Spicy Shrimp & Eggplant. The dish was composed of Pan seared shrimp, Romano crusted eggplant, and black pepper cream sauce.
The entrees were just as good. A popular dish was the Lobster & Shrimp Ravioli. The spicy black pepper cream sauce tasted so good. The Grilled Salmon Fresca and Grilled Salmon Salad were also good too.
The ending was sweet and decadent. We got to taste a couple of different desserts. Cinnamon Bread Pudding, Tiramisu, Creme Brulee, and a Caramel Marscapone Cheesecake. The bread pudding was my favorite. Was served warm and it wasn't too sweet.
All in all, it was a great meal from beginning to end. I was very surprised on how good the menu is. With the many, many restaurants located in the St John's Town Center. Some get lost in the shuffle for me. But I'll make sure to stop by Brio and try the rest of their menu.
