Good Day, my fellow followers. So today was the press review of the new IKEA store. The media got to participate in a guided tour of the entire store. We, also got to hear comments from store Manager, Leontyne Green Sykes and also got to sample some of the food. And yes, we tasted the famous Ikea meatballs.
The 46th store in the U.S. and the fifth in Florida, opens it's doors November 8th at 9 a.m. and there are tons of grand opening giveaways for those willing to get in line early. Customers may begin lining up at 9 a.m. Monday, November 6th. Some great giveaways include a free EKTORP three seat sofa, for the first 46 adults (18 & order). For the next 100 adults (18 & older) will receive a free POANG armchair. All this is happening Wednesday with a bunch more happening Thursday and Friday.
It was great getting a little sneak peak of the store. All the employees were working hard making sure the store is ready to go. If you haven't been to an Ikea before, well you are in for a treat. All I can say is, "just be ready". For those who have been, the Jacksonville is a little different in layout. Some are multi level locations, while this location is single-level. Store hours will be Monday thru Sat, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. IKEA will be closed for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Customers can sign up for the IKEA Family loyalty program for free to receive product discounts and special offers such as free coffee or hot tea at the restaurant or additional time for their child in Smaland.
So there you have it. She's big, bold & beautiful. She'll fit right in. For more information, head to Ikea.com. Until next time, have a great day!
