Good day fellow foodies. Yesterday some lucky customers and local bloggers/media were invited to get a sneak peek of Jacksonville's newest food retailer, Earth Fare. This newest location is in Mandarin off of San Jose Boulevard and is the 42nd location in the Earth Fare family and the 2nd location in Jacksonville.
I've been to the other location off of Atlantic Blvd, so I was happy to be able to get to learn some good facts about Earth Fare. One of the things I've liked about Earth Fare is they carry a good amount of products from local businesses. Different products from alcohol, honey, dairy products and even pickles. The store is very bright, colorful and each section is clearly marked with big signs. So you can easily find what you are looking for. The pictures say it all. They have a bulk section and even a Nut Butter section.
The newest location opens today at 7 a.m. and features Earth Fare's Heirloom Organic Cafe & Juice Bar. Which I know I'll love, because I love me a good organic smoothie. Will touring the facility, I got to talk with a couple gentlemen from Homestead Creamery. They are a small locally-owned dairy processing plant out of Burnt Chimney, VA. While talking to them I got to taste some of their products. The chocolate milk, strawberry milk and lemonade was so good, so fresh. I even bought a couple of bottles. So if you stop in. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.
So I know some of you foodie lovers who lived far from the 1st Jacksonville location are happy about this location opening up. You'll definitely leave with a cart full of food deemed by Earth Fare to be some of the highest quality in the industry.
