Sunday Asado @ The Glass Factory

Sunday Asado @ The Glass Factory

When I looked up the definition of the word "asado", I found that it's a standard spanish word for barbecue. It goes on to say that an asado usually consists of beef alongside various other meats. Well this past Sunday at The Glass Factory was a perfect example of "asado".

Put together and hosted by the lovely Cari Sanchez-Potter, this event was one not to be missed. Chef Scott Schwartz of 29 South, Chef Tom Gray of Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails and the rest of the hardworking staff all did a great job from beginning to end.  The food was great, the venue was massive & beautiful and the music was on point. I was blessed to have an opportunity to attend such a wonderful event. With my work schedule, free time is rarely available. This event definitely shows the growth and also how tight-knit the culinary community is in Jacksonville. Can't wait to do it again. Please enjoy the photos, I enjoyed taking them!
